This policy explains how VU Group collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website or contact us.
Who we are
VU Group is run by Bharat Patel, based in Leicester, United Kingdom.

What information we collect
When you fill in our quote request form, we collect:
- your name
- your business name
- your email address
- your phone number (if you give it)
- your type of business, and any message you send us
When you visit the site, our website host may also record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running securely.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- deliver the services you agree to buy from us
- keep records of our work together
- send you occasional marketing emails, only if you have agreed to receive them
We never sell your personal information.

How we use AI
We use AI tools to help plan and write marketing campaigns. We do not enter your personal contact details into AI tools.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted providers who help us run our business:
- our website host, Netlify
- our form provider, Formspree, which passes your quote request to our inbox
- our email provider, Microsoft 365
These providers only use your data on our instructions. Some of them store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: 6 years after our work ends, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time (every marketing email has an unsubscribe link)
- ask us to transfer your data to another organisation

Our website does not use cookies.
